The Range

Quirky, Fun, Energetic!

East of the Barossa Valley, lies the long established Riverlands wine region of Southern Australia which is famous for producing full-flavored wines that are popular worldwide. With the mighty Murray river flowing amidst the backdrop of limestone cliffs and valleys, the region’s continental climate yields mainstream varieties such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay.

Rose

Grape Variety: Colombard, Semillon, Shiraz
ABV: 11.5% Vol.
Color: Incredibly light rose pink
Bouquet: A generous and simple palate of peach, gooseberry and watermelon brightened up by hints of citrus
Palate: A delicious and refreshing wine, with a crisp acidity and inviting tropical notes that is perfect on a sun-filled day
Food Pairing: Soft cheese, duck, salmon
Serving Temperature: 8° C

Chardonnay

Grape Variety: Chardonnay
ABV: 12.5% Vol.
Color: Pale yellow with golden hue
Bouquet: Passion fruit and ripe guava with a creamy note
Palate: Medium bodied. Light and summery with a delicious taste of juicy tropical fruits, hints of vanilla and a citrus lift
Food Pairing: Aperitif, seafood, chicken and soft cheese
Serving Temperature: 8-10° C

shiraz

Grape Variety: Shiraz
ABV: 13% Vol.
Color: Dark purple with red hue
Bouquet: Berries driven with liquorice spice notes
Palate: Medium to full bodied, flavour packed with delicious smoky berry, smooth tannins, oaky flavours and peppery notes
Food Pairing: Chips and salsa, roast meats and BBQ meats
Serving Temperature: 10-12° C

Cabarnet merlot

Grape Variety: Cabernet, Merlot
ABV: 12.5% Vol.
Color: Dark ruby red
Bouquet: Generous ripe black currants and soft notes of cloves
Palate: Light to full bodied. Hints of juicy blackberries, robust taste of plum and a touch of spice. Full flavoured, smooth and a well-rounded wine, soft tannins
Food Pairing: Grilled chicken, roast beef or lamb, aged cheese
Serving Temperature: 10-12° C

Blowfish Your Way

Blowfish Frose

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle Blowfish Rosé

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled, quartered

  • 1/4 cups lemon juice

Method

Blend up the all ingredients then strain. Pour the ingredients into a covered baking dish. Freeze for 6 hours or overnight!

Blowfish Frose

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle Blowfish Rosé

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled, quartered

  • 1/4 cups lemon juice

Method

Blend up the all ingredients then strain. Pour the ingredients into a covered baking dish. Freeze for 6 hours or overnight!

Blowfish FRosé

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle Blowfish Rosé

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 500g ice

Method

Blend up the all ingredients then strain. Garnish with a slice of strawberry or watermelon

Blowfish spritzer

Ingredients
  • 150ml Blowfish Chardonnay

  • 50ml Sparkling water

  • Dash of elderflower liqueur

  • 1 lemon slice & rind

Method

Add wine to a tall wine glass add liqueur and ice, stir with lemon slice. top with sparkling water. Twist lemon rind over wine and top as garnish.

Blowfish Wine pop

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle Blowfish Shiraz

  • 100 g blueberries

  • 4 cups Lemon-Lime Soda

Method

Blend blueberries and wine and strain. Stir in lemon-lime soda and pour into popsicle moulds and freeze for 6 hours or overnight!


Blowfish Sangria

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle Blowfish Cab Merlot

  • 2 cups soda

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • ½ cup orange liqueur

  • 1 apple & 1 orange sliced

Method

Add wine and orange liqueur to fruit and macerate if you have time… or just stir well, add orange juice, ice, stir some more and top with soda
